Dr. Subramanian Swamy is an Indian economist, statistician and politician who serves as a Member of Parliament in Rajya Sabha, the upper house of the Indian Parliament.
Dr. Swamy completed his Masters in Mathematics from University of Delhi and went on to do Ph.D. in Economics from Harvard University.
Dr. Swamy has served as a member of the Planning Commission of India and was a Cabinet Minister in the Chandra Shekhar government.
